 Become a Volunteer You may want to consider becoming an Active Member. Members, or Vincentians, are men and women who are active members of a Conference. They regularly attend meetings and actively participate in person-to-person outreach to those in need. If you are interested in becoming an Active Member, please contact your local parish Conference or use the Contact Us page. Associate Members attend meetings only occasionally. Often family or professional obligations prevent these people from becoming Active Members. Often time, Associate members have professional skills, medical, legal, technical, that are occasionally needed to help someone in need. Active Members are extremely helpful to the Society. Contributing Members financially support the work of the Society. They enable the Society to carry out its mission of charity. Volunteers are always welcomed at our Call Center and Food and Clothing Bank. The Call Center receives call people in need of assistance. The Call Center operates from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM Monday through Friday. Shifts are scheduled in two hour intervals. A variety of volunteer opportunities exist at the Food and Clothing Bank. For more information, please contact us. Conferences by PrecinctThe Conferences are parish based and are the building block of the Society. The members (Vincentians) meet together for prayer and visit those in needs generally within the parish boundaries. For the most part, they raise and disburse the money. These locations would be a great place to start for those who would like to volunteer.
